The Mesa Cannery supports the Association of Arizona Food Banks and and food banks like United Food Bank through food-packaging activities. The ability to take bulk items like beans, rice and pasta and turn it into quantities that can be distributed to families in need is an amazing help. On May 6th, The Cannery is hosting volunteers to package bulk food; shifts are available from 9:00 am – 11 am, and 11:00 am- 1:00 pm.
