Volunteer-a-Thon of Gratitude - 11/24/15, 5:30pm - 8:30pm

Volunteers will join us for training starting at 5:30 pm, then take over sorting through food donations–screening for quality, checking dates, packing them in boxes by category–to make them available to the more than 199 agencies we serve. Our goal is to sort 12,000 lbs of food – enough to make about 10,000 meals available! Each volunteer could potentially get us 400 lbs closer!

Turkey Drive Volunteering

It’s the holiday season and that means TURKEYS! United Food Bank, along with numerous other agencies across Arizona, is working hard to make sure that every hungry family has a turkey for their holiday dinners.

As a volunteer, you will greet donors and receive turkeys and other donations from them, record donations, offer receipts, and store food. Some periods may be very busy; others may be quiet.
