HUNGER ACTION

MONTH

Educate. Advocate. Donate. Volunteer.

Everyone can take small steps or big leaps towards making an impact to help alleviate hunger in our local communities.

Turning Hunger Awareness into Hunger Action

September is Hunger Action Month, a Feeding America initiative that focuses on empowering us to take action to fight food insecurity.

Getting involved by donating, volunteering, or raising awareness—helps ensure everyone has access to the nutritious food they need to thrive. Every effort, big or small, creates real change and brings us one step closer to ending hunger in our community.

On this page you’ll find resources to help you and your families get involved and learn about how hunger affects people in your own neighborhood.
