United Food Bank prepares to distribute Holiday Meals to families in need.
November 21st @ Mesa Convention Center
(Mesa, AZ) – With Thanksgiving less than a week away, United Food Bank and volunteers have begun putting together Thanksgiving meals for families in need. Preparing to serve 1,800 families at the upcoming drive-thru food distribution at the Mesa Convention Center. Turkeys and all the Thanksgiving fixings will be available on November 21st from 9am-1pm, or until food lasts. Anyone in need can come and pick-up food at this drive-thru distribution. Walk up service is also available for those without vehicles.
Holiday meals will include a large turkey, stuffing, cranberries, green beans, cream of mushroom, corn, mixed fruit (can), rice, raisins, walnuts, pumpkin (can), dehydrated potatoes and assorted fresh produce.
As grocery prices and living costs continue to rise, more and more people are seeking food assistance for the first time. United Food Bank is diligently working to fill these needs and ensure that individuals and families have the food they need as the holiday season approaches.
