For 5 summers now, we’ve partnered with Channel 12 News & Fry’s Food Stores to help meet the needs of our struggling Arizona neighbors. We call it the Summer of a Million Meals. “Summer of a Million Meals is an effort to restock our shelves for the summer demand that’s coming,” said Dave Richins, the President, and CEO of United Food Bank.
Five years of helping with Summer of a Million Meals
With the rise in inflation and high prices of gas and food, more and more families across Arizona are turning to food banks for help. In order to meet the needs within our community, United Food Bank partners with 150 food pantries, meal sites, school programs, and mobile pantries to get food to people that need it.
This summer our goal is simple: A million meals for those in need. As we work together alongside so many amazing partners we know we can meet and even exceed this goal. Please consider donating in whatever big or small way you can.
