Aid to Humanity Project Provides Relief to Arizonans Facing Hunger
Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo) will present over 100 boxes of food and a donation of $5,000 to support local hunger relief efforts in Mesa, as part of the church’s Aid to Humanity events happening worldwide, Oct. 30-31.
When: Friday, Oct. 30, 3 – 4 p.m.
Where: 358 E. Javelina Ave., Mesa, 85210 (United Food Bank Volunteer Center)
What: District Minister, Artemio T. Pilon, Jr. and Brother Ador Apostol of the Church of Christ and church members from local congregations in Tempe, Phoenix, Gilbert (Mesa), and Maricopa will present the United Food Bank, Mesa United Way, and Mesa Mayor John Giles with food and monetary donations on behalf of the church.
This outdoor event will be limited to 50 people and will require face masks and social distancing.
