Help Yourself is a weekly food purchase cooperative for those in our communities on fixed incomes and limited resources. Held on most Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon.
HELP YOURSELF PURCHASE COOPERATIVE
The Help Yourself Co-op Program at United Food Bank offers households the ability to stretch their grocery dollars a little further by taking advantage of our food-buying power.
Each week, families and individuals can purchase through our Co-op choosing fresh meats and fresh produce for only $20 — cash, credit, debit or EBT accepted.
We also offer a variety of bread, pastry and other items as available at no cost to qualified individuals through United Food Bank’s Choice Pantry. Participation in the Purchase Co-Op is NOT required or expected to receive food assistance through United Food Bank’s Choice Pantry.
*Please note: For your safety, shoes are required to be worn in the warehouse.*
Help Yourself is held every Friday, except on major holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at our Volunteer Center at 358 East Javelina, Mesa, AZ.
