United Food Bank Receives a Patriotic Donation

In honor of the 4th of July, United Food Bank received a generous donation of a U.S. flag from Air-A-Zona Flag Company.

“We were so touched to receive this donation from our friends at Air-A-Zona Flag Company,” said Bob Evans, President and CEO at United Food Bank. “We have wanted a flag to fly the colors over our new building since we moved in last year and we are happy to finally be able to show our American pride.”

Air-A-Zona Flag Company is a local business that offers a wide variety of U.S., State and foreign flags, as well as custom flags, banners and table drapes. They are located in Mesa and were happy to support an organization like United Food Bank.

“We are all about patriotism, so we cannot think of anything more patriotic than donating a flag to United Food Bank, a great organization that gives back to our community,” said Diane Dilbeck from Air-A-Zona Flag Company.

United Food Bank staff gathered to celebrate and to thank Diane as she delivered the donation to the food bank warehouse and is in the process of installing a flagpole on its property so the flag can be flown.
