Charitable Tax Credit
Arizona has a dollar-for-dollar tax credit which means for every dollar you donate to United Food Bank, you receive a tax credit toward your Arizona state income tax liability, so donations don’t cost you a penny*.
This is separate from the School Tax Credit Program so you can donate to both United Food Bank and your child’s or grandchild’s school. Individuals can give up to $470 dollars which helps provide over 2,350 meals. Couples filing jointly can give up to $938 which helps provide 4,690 meals (2024 Tax Credit Limits).
* Disclaimer: Consult your tax professional for information about how tax credits can reduce your state tax liability. To claim the charitable tax credit, use Form 321 and United Food Bank’s QCO #20206.
