Volunteering at United Food Bank
United Food Bank has numerous volunteer opportunities. We are always looking for volunteers, either on a one-time basis or on a regular basis. Currently, the food bank has five areas that utilize volunteers:
Kids L.I.F.E.
Volunteers pre-assemble meals & snacks that are distributed to at-risk children in after school enrichment programs.

Food Sorting
Taking donated non-perishable items received at United Food Bank and sorting them into a variety of product categories, for distribution to partner agencies.

Helping Hands
Volunteers assist with building emergency non-perishable food boxes for individuals and families.

Clerical Assistance
A clerical assistance volunteer works within the main office doing such clerical tasks as filing, typing letters and data entry. We especially need help stuffing envelopes now through the Holidays. A clerical volunteer can work Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
