Eagle Scout Collects 223 Cases of Water for United Food Bank

Arizona – May 10, 2011 – Yesterday, May 9, 2011, Eagle Scout Ryan Rupa of Gilbert, delivered 223 cases of water to United Food Bank. Rupa set a goal for himself to collect 210 cases and exceeded that goal. United Food Bank staff was thrilled to receive the donation. “As the temperatures warm up, donations tend to decrease, but the need, especially for water, is still there,” said Bob Evans, United Food Bank President and CEO. United Food Bank provides food to more than 270 agencies throughout five counties in Arizona and serves the all of the East Valley.
